A practical guide to launching new projects, initiatives and improvements
Ever had new projects and initiatives gradually fade in impact? Found them difficult to get going? Then join this session where we will draw on recommendation 3: use a structured but flexible process, from the EEF’s updated guidance A School’s Guide to Implementation to give them a better chance of success.
Without a structured process, the behaviours and contextual factors that underpin effective implementation can be hard to enact. It involves the application of specific activities and principles over an extended period. This session will explore how you as a leader can adopt a process that is manageable, practical, and tailored to your own context.
By the end of the session, you will:
- Feel more confident and prepared to lead changes, projects and improvements.
- Use a structured process to apply behaviours and contextual factors.
- Adopt a set of practical and tailored set of strategies.
- Identify the active ingredients.
- Treat it as a process of ongoing learning and improvement.
Who is it for:
This session is ideal for subject leaders, as well as phase and senior leaders who are leading change — whether that’s in curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, or school improvement projects. You will gain the knowledge, skills, confidence and strategies to make changes more successful.
