How effective is the provision for pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) in your school, and more importantly, how do you know?
Our ‘how to review’ series provides you with practical, effective strategies to review specific provision within your school.
During this event we will explore ways that senior leaders and subject leaders can review and evaluate the effectiveness of provision for children with English as an Additional Language to ensure systems and practices meet the needs of learners.
We will discuss the importance of a supportive school environment, inclusive pedagogy, curriculum access, admissions and induction.
We will share examples of good provision and how to monitor effectiveness, including ways to identify strengths and areas of development in provision.
This event is aimed at senior leaders, EAL leaders and any other staff interested in EAL provision.
