Educational update

The educational update contains daily articles of key educational news, research and blogs to ensure school leaders and teaching staff are kept up to date on best practice and what is happening in the world of education.

Every Tuesday during term time we send you an email containing the headlines from the previous week, so you can choose to read the articles most relevant to your role.

Staff meeting starters

Staff meeting starters  prompt short discussions to keep everyone up to date on current educational thinking. The discussions will build a shared understanding of good practice and an awareness of school policies and procedures. These take the form of a PowerPoint or PDF. Staff meeting starters are uploaded weekly and we send you an email alert on a Thursday to ensure the latest staff meeting starter is not missed!

SLT Cuppa and Connect

Our SLT Cuppa and Connect events are monthly online meetings which provide a safe, informal place to connect with senior leaders around the country. We focus on a current issue, facilitating discussions and sharing our knowledge and experience if asked.

Following a previous session, we created and shared a guide for managing student image and video content.

Resource bank

The EduSuite resource bank contains fully adaptable resources to support leaders in their respective roles. Many take the form of audit tools, checklists and self-evaluation documents. Your subscription to the headteacher support package entitles you to select 10 resources from our list.

Subject leader skills audit and self-development action planDownload

The cost of this package to CAPH members is £252 + VAT. This entitles the headteacher and up to two additional senior leaders in the same school 12 months access to the resources outlined above. This works out at £84 per person!
